Draft — pending legal review
What we collect
For teen members: a display name, grade band (middle or high school), interests, an optional avatar, and a guardian email address. We do not collect or store a teen's last name, home address, phone number, or school schedule.
For guardians: name and email, and the record of the consent decision you make for your teen.
For mentors and advisors: name, contact details, references, code-of-conduct and mandatory-reporter acknowledgments, and the status of a Level 2 background screening.
Ask for Help submissions
If you choose to submit anonymously, staff reviewing your request do not see your name. Your account is still recorded in a restricted way that only an administrator can look up, and only for a safety follow-up. If what you share suggests you or someone else may be in danger, a trusted adult here may need to look into it and, when Florida law requires it, report it.
Who can see what
Access is enforced in the database, not just in the app. Support requests are visible to staff and administrators only — never to mentors or other teens. Background-check status history is visible to administrators only. Guardians see only their own linked teen's consent status, club signups and public achievements.
No messaging, no AI counseling
There is no direct messaging between any two members in any role combination. Club announcements are one-way from mentors and staff. Support requests always route to a human staff queue — never to a chatbot or automated responder.
Your data
Guardians and members may request a copy of their data or ask us to delete a teen's data at any time using the request form in the guardian dashboard. We keep records only as long as needed for safety, legal and program purposes.
