The story

Two teens training for their first 5K put a sign-up sheet on the community board and expected nobody. Nine people showed up in the rain. The crew still runs in the rain on purpose once a month.

No one gets dropped. Two pace groups, water stops every two miles, and a leader at the back of every route.
